Cushion cut, the amethyst is 14.25 carats of a medium deep purple with extra faceting to the underside for illuminating highlights and sparkle.

With a 14k gold regal setting, the motif is pansy flowers. Six in all, they rest amid open filigree gold work allowing light and shadow as well as engraved details to bring them to the forefront.

The six prongs are even shaped and incised similar to leaves carrying the theme further. A striking stand out for the finger coming down to us from the Art Deco period.
