Celebrate the Day! A more tangible illustration of the carpe diem motto, this whimsical antique Victorian pendant uses the call of the vainglorious rooster to illustrate its point.

A watch key, fob and pendant charm, the 18k solid yellow gold decorative top is arranged in two sections with a pendant hanger in between. Beautifully sculpted, note the gold wire-work successfully built up to form undulating forms and loops.

At the base, the bloodstone seal is carved in intaglio with the image of a rooster standing with his mouth open as if crowing his song to the world. At the outer edge, the words, “Whilst I Live I’ll Crow” in block letters engraved into the stone.

It’s a reminder to us all to sing while we can and take nothing for granted.
