A butterfly, a crescent moon, and a star…it doesn’t get any better than those two motifs when combined in one breathtaking jewel.

And when those motifs are studded with diamonds and gemstones, well, watch out for some serious, sensational impact.

Victorian in date to around 1880, where shall we begin, hmmm?

Let’s start with the gem and diamond studded butterfly resting upon the waning moon. Its gold feet cling to the crescent, its wing encrusted with rose-cut diamonds, natural blue sapphires, and red rubies.

Above the colorful insect, a coronet set, old mine-cut diamond represents a bright, shining star in the evening sky.

Studded with old mine-cut diamonds, with the smallest at each tip rose cuts, the moon is ablaze with refraction and reflection.

Over 3.50 carats of diamonds rival our own lunar companion to our earth, and the bling this puts out is balanced by the enchanting theme and careful workmanship.
