In the late 1930’s like today, no name better captured the idea of embracing the best life had to offer than that of Tiffany & Co. One of their special offerings to their most discriminating female clients was a line of jeweled watches emblazoned with the Tiffany & Co. name on the dial. Although the maker’s name was often hidden, the retailer contracted with a number of the world’s fine watch and jewelry making firms to produce these treasured timepieces.
Today’s offering showcases this stunning platinum diamond Tiffany & Co. watch made by Hamilton for the prestigious retailer.
The Hamilton Watch Co., America’s most iconic vintage watch firm and one of its finest wristwatch makers, built treasured timepieces that are still cherished by many today. During their peak years, which lasted from the 30’s into the 60’s, the Pennsylvania establishment developed a reputation for innovation and quality.
We were fortunate to obtain it in all original condition down to the dial, hands, and even winding crown.
Bejewelled with radiant original factory set diamonds over all the bezel and tops of the lugs, the Art Deco styled platinum case is beautiful!
It is in very pleasing condition, appearing to have been worn carefully in appreciation of its quality and value.
Its silver Tiffany & Co. dial is original and untouched, a rare find for a watch of its age. Its platinum and diamond case is near mint plus. It comes equipped with its original platinum clasp and findings.
One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled its well-made “gold medallion movement making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
If you are looking for a special treasure for someone in your life, this is it. Modern Tiffany watches don’t match the charm and romance of this vintage original.
